Mi tudjuk, hogy soha senki sem ragadja magához a hatalmat azzal a szándékkal, hogy lemondjon róla. A hatalom nem eszköz; a hatalom cél. Nem azért csinál az ember diktatúrát, hogy megoltalmazzon egy forradalmat, hanem azért csinál forradalmat, hogy diktatúrát csinálhasson. Az üldözés célja az üldözés. A kínzás célja a kínzás. A hatalom célja a hatalom.
